Have you ever wanted a system to help control the number of bathers in your swimming pool? A system that is not only visual and audiable with an extra twist! Then this is the system for you.
Many leisure facility with swimming pools us coloured wristbands to control the number of swimmers in the pool at any one time, This ia a requirement set by the HSE* when a swimmer purchase a swimming seesion they are given a coloured wristband.
This system allows the facility to run overlapping sessions.
Sequentially running sessions, where a swimming session can run for an hour or more, is the way most swimming pools operate.
However if is not the most optimum, if a customer arrives when the session is halfway through they are unhappy to pay the full session price.
This normally means that the number of swimmers entering in the last 20-30 minutes of a session is minimal.
There are also lost minutes required at the end of a session to make sure the pool is clear before the next session begins. Swimmers can therefore be paying the full amount for only a very short swimming session.
Using overlapping sessions means it does not matter when a swimmer purchases their swim they will always get nearly a full session, therefore sales can be continuously made and revenue could increase.
The system counts how many of each band has been sold. When a swimming session ends the system will run the following stages:
1. Fade any current background music.
2. Play one of the following jungle animal sounds (lion, elephant, wolf, tiger, elephant, goriller) followed by a pre-recorded message asking (all bather with X coloured wristbands please leave the pool area thank you)
3. The relevant becon is elumanated on the light towers.
The light towers are available hard wired or wireless.
The system has many capablelatis of linking with other system such as fire alarm systems to give a visuale warning as well as audiable, link to pool features to give the bathers a pre indication of a feature that is about to start.
The ability to store thousands of songs and a micraphone input to minimize the need for extra music equitment.
